Extra Tips & Tricks for Perfecting Your Cheesecake
1. Substitutions & Variations
If you don’t have Uvolve Collagen Protein, feel free to use any high-quality protein powder you prefer. Vanilla, caramel, or unflavored protein powders work best to maintain the taste balance.
Swap the Lotus Biscoff Spread with almond or peanut butter for a nuttier twist. You can even experiment with sugar-free chocolate spreads for a more decadent flavour profile.
2. Make It Dairy-Free
For a dairy-free version, replace the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and yogurt with plant-based alternatives.
3. Bulk Batch for Meal Prep
This cheesecake freezes exceptionally well, making it perfect for meal prep. Simply cut into individual slices, wrap them in parchment paper, and store them in an airtight container in the freezer. When you're ready for a snack, grab a slice, let it thaw for a few minutes, and enjoy!
4. Customizable Toppings
While the Biscoff spread and biscuits are divine, feel free to switch things up. Try fresh berries, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or even a drizzle of dark chocolate for a different flavour profile. You can also add a dollop of whipped Greek yogurt on top for extra creaminess and protein.
Why Protein Matters in Dessert
Many of us enjoy dessert, but it can sometimes leave us feeling sluggish due to a lack of nutrients and an excess of sugar. This cheesecake delivers 14 grams of protein per slice, which helps to:
Stabilize blood sugar levels after meals
Support muscle recovery (especially important post-workout!)
Keep you feeling full longer, helping to avoid overeating or snacking on less nutritious options.
