Bacon, Egg and Cheese English Muffin

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x Tip Top English muffin

  • 25g Primo Foods Shortcut Rindless Bacon

  • 1 x Slice Coles Lite Slice Cheese

  • 7ml Masterfoods Low Sugar BBQ Sauce

  • 1 x Egg

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook the Bacon and Egg:

    • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook the Primo Foods Shortcut Rindless Bacon until crispy, then set aside.

    • In the same pan, crack the egg and cook it to your preference—whether it’s sunny-side-up, fried, or scrambled.

  2. Assemble the Muffin:

    • Slice the Tip Top English muffin in half and lightly toast both sides.

    • Spread 7ml of Masterfoods Low Sugar BBQ Sauce on the inside of one half of the muffin.

    • Place the cooked bacon on top, followed by the egg, and then lay the Coles Lite Slice Cheese on top.

  3. Wrap for Meal Prep:

    • Sandwich the muffin together and wrap it tightly in aluminium foil. Repeat this process for as many muffins as you need for meal prep.

  4. Reheating Instructions with an Air Fryer:

    • When you're ready to enjoy your prepped muffin, simply pop it (still wrapped in foil) into your air fryer.

    • Set the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and heat for 5-7 minutes, or until the muffin is warmed through and the cheese is melted.

    • Carefully unwrap the foil and enjoy your perfectly reheated bacon, egg, and cheese muffin!

Uvolve Tips:

  • Customise Your Muffin: Feel free to add extras like spinach, tomato slices, or avocado for added nutrition and flavor.

  • Bulk Prep: If you're meal prepping for the week, make several muffins at once. They’ll stay fresh in the fridge for up to 4 days.

  • Freezing Option: You can also freeze the wrapped muffins for longer storage. Just pop them into the air fryer straight from the freezer, adding a couple of extra minutes to the reheating time.

  • Avoid Sogginess: To prevent the muffin from becoming soggy, you can toast the inside of the muffin halves a bit longer before assembling.

  • Crispy Bacon: If you prefer extra crispy bacon, cook it in the air fryer for about 5-7 minutes at 180°C (350°F) before adding it to your muffin.

Enjoy these easy, versatile muffins as a quick breakfast or a tasty snack anytime!
